Trivial Grievances is a book about what happens when life doesn’t turn out the way you thought it would. It started with the question: are millennials the most miserable 31 year olds yet? And ended up an exploration of the big questions we face in our 30s – whether or not to have children, how we define ourselves and how to be happy. A mixture of humour, reporting and memoir, Trivial Grievances is out in July with Harper Collins.
The Way Things Should Be is Bridie’s debut novel published in 2017. It follows four grown up siblings as they come back to their hometown for their sister’s wedding.
